This Privacy Policy describes how Glenkirs Video Publish ("the Application", "we") handles information when you use our YouTube integration via Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API.
The Application is a local desktop tool. Video processing and OAuth tokens are stored on your computer. We do not operate a cloud service that collects end-user data from the general public.
When you authorize the Application through Google OAuth, we may request these scopes:
We do not request your Google account password. Authorization happens on Google's sign-in pages.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use Google or YouTube data for advertising or profiling.
OAuth tokens and channel settings are saved in local files on your device (for example data/youtube/accounts/<slug>/token.json). You can delete tokens with the Disconnect button in the admin UI, by revoking access in your Google Account permissions, or by deleting these files.
Videos are processed and stored locally. When you publish, video files and metadata are transmitted to YouTube using the YouTube Data API according to YouTube Terms of Service and Google's policies.
Data remains on your device until you delete it or revoke the app's access in Google account settings. Uploaded videos remain on YouTube until you delete them on YouTube.
You are responsible for securing your computer, network, OAuth client secrets, and token files. Use strong device access controls and do not share credentials.
The Application is not directed at children under 13. YouTube's age requirements and policies apply to connected channels.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
